Terms of Use
This website and its portals are run by DEMO BASIC SCHOOL (“the school”) for its learners, parents and guardians, staff and visitors. The system is provided and hosted for the school by Smart Basic School by Clean Code GH. These Terms explain how you may use the website and the portals.
1. Using the website
By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using it. The public pages are for information about the school. Admission, fees, reports and other school matters are decided by the school under its own rules and any agreement you have with it.
2. Accounts and portals
Staff accounts are created by the school. Learners and parents use the Student Portal with the details or access code the school gives them. Keep your sign-in details private, do not share or lend your account, and tell the school at once if you think someone else has used it.
Use only the account and the records you are entitled to see. Do not try to reach other people's records, change marks, bills or payments you are not authorised to change, upload harmful files, or disrupt the system. The school may suspend an account to protect learners, staff or records, and may report misuse.
3. Records, reports and fees
Reports, marks, attendance, bills, balances and receipts shown in the portals come from the school's records. If something looks wrong, contact the school: it checks and corrects its records. A printed or downloaded report or bill reflects the records at the time it was made.
Fees, payment deadlines, discounts and refunds are set by the school. Online payments are processed by payment providers under their own terms; keep your receipt or payment reference until the school confirms the payment.
4. Messages
The school may send SMS or email to the contacts on its records about your child or your account, for example payments, reports and school notices. Tell the school when your phone number or email changes.
5. Content and ownership
The school's name, badge, pictures and text belong to the school or to those who allowed the school to use them. The software belongs to Smart Basic School by Clean Code GH. You may view and print pages for your own school use; other copying or reuse needs permission unless the law allows it.
6. Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care to keep the website and portals available and correct, but cannot promise that they will always be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent the law allows, neither the school nor Smart Basic School by Clean Code GH is responsible for indirect losses from using the website. Nothing here removes rights you have by law.
7. Changes and the law
The school may update these Terms and will show the new date on this page. Ghanaian law governs these Terms. Please contact the school first about any concern. Read the Privacy Policy to see how personal data is handled.
